Life, moments, experiences
Life is made up of moments and experiences—each of us living them in our own way. Some pass quietly, others stay with us. I think the reason certain moments linger, no matter how small or brief, is because they connect to who we are, what we’ve been through, or something we feel deeply.
These are simply my thoughts as they are right now. There are parts of my life that could be better, and parts I’m deeply grateful for. I’m grateful for my parents, for friendships that continue to matter even across distance, and for the peace I’ve found—sometimes not in spite of hardship, but through it.
There are many things in this world that can weigh on us. It can be hard to find moments of calm and meaning. But I urge you to do so, as I urge myself to.
While editing a photograph recently, I found myself searching for words that matched what I was feeling. What came to me was simple and personal: We are strong in what we have struggled through. And we deserve to believe that, to grow, and to move forward.
So how does this relate to photography?
Every photograph is a moment that means something to someone—whether it’s for a business, an artist, a family, a friend, or simply for yourself. These images carry purpose because the moments behind them do.
We’re all, in one way or another, looking for meaning. And Photography is one way that speaks to me.
